In love with this book for our toddler who vlearly has an engineering brain. He loves to see how things work and take them apart. Thus keot him occupied for almost an hour on a five hour road trip!
Simple Machines Made Simple (pre-order)
I love the design and the feel of the Simple Machines and showed the book to my preschooler. He loved it and we were careful with it . BUT the
pnull on the Pulley pulled off right away and the string came out of the top wheel of the pulley.
I’m not sure how to fix it, and I didn’t want my little guy to feel ashamed that he had broken it, because he was really very careful. He loves his special book and had already learned the names of the simple machines. Most of the machines are sturdier than the Pulley.
It's straight to the point has simple machines is interactive.
I bought these for my 2 grandsons, who are both a little over a year old. Although they don't understand what they're looking at, they like to move the parts up and down and around, etc. I figure it's never too early to start them on the path of discovery. In the meantime, all of the adults are engaged and amazed and love the book! Thanks, a great idea!
